Our inspiration for Planted Grace E-Books

Planted Grace E-Books was created from a desire to provide a special place for self-care through journaling, adult coloring books, and personal development. We believe in nurturing your faith journey and encouraging grace in every step of your life. In our fast-paced world, it's easy to move from one task to the next without pausing to breathe, rest, and reset. This space is designed to equip you with the tools you need to do just that – to find moments of peace and reflection.

 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that    the power of  Christ may rest upon me.

Meet Priscilla

Author, Priscilla D. Rogers  is a BIPOC Business Owner,  Christian, Wife, Mom, and Nature Enthusiast! Most of all she is a Kingdom Kid! That's right adopted into God's family as His daughter and made new through Jesus Christ.  Hobbies include walking, laughing, talking, shopping, listening to music, creative arts, and gardening.  Professionally, Priscilla has clinical experience as a therapist (LMHP) and as served children and families for over a decade assisting underserved communities through homeless prevention and community outreach. Currently, through Grace 2 Connect, LLC. Priscilla's goal is to promote active aging, combat social isolation and loneliness for adults and provide an online self-care hub for journaling, mindfulness, and grace. 

Why is Self- Care important? According to WHO, appropriate self-care can reduce mortality and morbidity from the abuse of alcohol, substances, and tobacco. So What is self- care? WHO defines self-care as the ability of individuals, families and communities to promote their own health, prevent disease, maintain heal and to cope with illness with or without the support of a health or care worker. (World Health Organization, Self-Care for Health and Wellbeing, 2024) 

Priscilla knows personally and professionally, the importance of self-care to prevent burn out and compassion fatigue.  Imagine being about to show up for yourself first through care and compassion so that you can better serve others.  Journaling is one way to help you on your self-care journey.
